The
new automatic trace element analyzer GAT TEA®4000
ASwas developed in our company to-gether with the Heyrowsky-Institute
and contains the newest results of research and developement. J.
Heyrowsky got the Nobel Price for his work in the field of electro-chemistry.
The GAT TEA®4000 ASincludes a new developed windows-software
with greatly improved measurement and calculation tools. It also
can control an autosampler and allows the automatic measurement
of series of up to 60 samples. The polarographic stand and the autosampler
are completely controlled by the software. The system includes our
world wide patented han-ging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) which
consu-mes only 1,5 ml Hg per year. Alternatively it can be fitted
with solid state electrodes as Glassy-carbon, Gold and others.
The price and the permanent costs while running are still very
low compared with other analytical techniques, and the detection
limits are still un-matched. The polarography/voltammetry is one
of the most important analytical techniques in the fields of environmental
protection, Mineralogy, Metallurgy, Geology and in the chemical
industry.
The GAT TEA®4000 MP is our portable system, which
can be used in the lab and in the field. The power is completely
supplied by the computer or the portable power pack (if used with
a notebook).
